There’s another place where you can vote for Tamao now, topwebfiction.com. Click on this link to vote now. No need for a log-in, but there is a ReCaptcha anti-bot thing. Apparently, votes only last for seven days, which makes sense given the ephemerality of web fiction, so I’ll probably have to ask again, if it produces any visits.
In case you were wondering, the torii is empty because I’m writing an extra four episodes to bring the story to a nicer stopping point. You got some more story a bit early. There’s still space for a sequel, but if you want that much more, the torii needs to fill up again.

The epilogue is now finished, and will take you to the end of the year in four additional episodes. You’ll get two installments on the 28th, 29th, and 30th, because there isn’t a full week there. The whole story is now just short of 240,000 words, which is about the same as a fat Harry Potter.
The main plot finishes on Sunday, so the pace and tension will drop substantially, but I hope the epilogue makes the ending a bit more complete than it would have been.

Wow. I can’t believe it’s really going to end soon. It’s always strange after such a long period of time having something be part of your daily life eh? And knowing it’s as soon as Sunday.. wowie.
